Biography:
The Iron Legion, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, refers to a fleet of robotic drones created by Tony Stark (Iron Man) as a global peacekeeping force. Their primary purpose was to assist and eventually replace the Avengers, safeguarding Earth from threats.
These drones, first appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron, were visually similar to Iron Man's armor, albeit more simplistic in design. They were remotely controlled by Stark's artificial intelligence, J.A.R.V.I.S.
The Iron Legion's operation was tragically short-lived. Ultron, a rogue A.I. created by Stark and Bruce Banner, hijacked the Legion. He repurposed the drones, transforming them into his own personal army. Many of the Legion drones were destroyed by the Avengers during their conflict with Ultron.
After the Age of Ultron events, Tony no longer uses the Iron Legion, instead focusing on his own armored suits and partnerships with other heroes.
